Determination of human and material assets threatened by flooding of areas in the municipalities Scharbeutz and Timmendorfer Strand, Germany

This evaluation was carried out by the Research and Technology Center Westcoast, Germany, as a contribution to the preparation of a new coastal protection plan for the Land Schleswig-Holstein. The goal was to determine the total sum of human and material assets in flood prone areas of Scharbeutz and Timmendorfer Strand as well as their geographical distribution.
